Stages of growth 🦋
The larvae of this bird hatch from eggs and feed on plant leaves, often living in groups. They then form their pupas and emerge from the larval stage before mid-summer (March-October). They hibernate at the end of autumn and awaken with the arrival of spring. What an exciting journey! ✨
Hibernation 😴
At the end of autumn, the twais seeks a warm and safe haven, such as the corners of houses and garages, during its winter hibernation. It tolerates mild and warm weather remarkably well.
Areas of presence 🌍
This bird prefers warm climates and is found in North African countries (such as Morocco and Tunisia), some European countries, and some Asian countries. An exciting journey! ✨
